Pinup Bondage

Wed Jul 8, 2009, 9:54 AM
Yup, pinup bondage. First a little history about Brandibondage. When I got off my ass about two years ago and got this dream project of mine off the ground, I realized that it would take me a good year to a year and a half to produce a big enough gallery to offer up. Another realization was that I was going to have to put up some sort of a website right away to give my project added legitimacy. "Where are you putting these pictures of me all tied up?" was a common and very reasonable question I got in the early days.

This necessitated putting the cart before the horse. My webmonster came up with a blog site powered by Word Press and we named the business Brandibondage after my first and main model, Brandi. Her real name and spelling by the way. Fast forward to the present and we find ourselves at a cross road.

Our bondage art has grown to the point where fans, friends and models are being critical (in a positive way) about details such as make up, hair styling and clothing. When I am rigging up a model at a shoot the more experienced ones will point out ropes that need adjusting or tightening. They not only want the bondage to be inescapable but neat as well. The "look" is playing as big a part in the experience as the experience of being bound and photographed for these willing and good looking woman now.

Set design is now crucial to our art. In the past we would of shot in front of a TV, book stand or clutter in general. Now we put up a back drop and place a prop of some sort into the mix. This adds some interest if we don't have the space for even a simple set. Our next shoot, if all goes as planned will be a kidnap progressing to outdoors shoot so that will be interesting to stage.

Far more attention is being paid to how the model positions herself during the shoot. Pointy toes, arched back, facial expressions etc are all choreographed now. I don't leave the model to the photographer and go onto another task as I have in the past. The task being tying up a second model to be ready for photographing when finished with the first. More production line. No more. My art, my vision....I stay and direct.

That leaves us with our current web site. :pee: Enough said. Our webmonster has assembled a little team of his own and is working hard in developing a completely :new: site. Completely. Everything. No more Word Press. We will be re-launching hopefully in the early fall under the banner "Pinup Bondage by Uncle M"

Stayed tuned folks!
